Residential Sealcoating
Nothing is worse than hiring a sealcoating company, who promises the world, only to find sealer splattered on your home or building, over sprayed on your hard scapes or black foot prints or spots on your lawn.
At CW Sealcoating we take every precaution to ensure that our high quality sealer is only applied to your blacktop. We use small brushes to cut in neatly around your home, garage, hard scapes or building. We also hand edge the entire perimeter of your blacktop for a crisp, straight line finish. We also use special placemats to clean our shoes so there are no black spots or footprints on your lawn or street. You will not find a sealcoat company more meticulous and deicated to the little details.
We only use Copelands Coal Tar sealer. Copelands is a local manufacture of blacktop sealer that has been in business for over 50 years.
Your blacktop should be sealcoated and maintained on average every 2-3 years. Sealcoat extends the life of your blacktop at only a margin of the cost of full replacement.
- Sealcoat slows the absorption of oils/chemicals into your blacktop which will eat away at it.
- Prevents your blacktop from drying out and becoming brittle, which will lead to cracking
- The main reason to sealcoat is to prevent water from penetrating the porous asphalt and disturbing the base, which causes the base to erode and settle. Eventually leading to pavement failure.
- Enhances your home or business’s curb appeal
Regular maintenance should also include addressing any cracks in your blacktop. This is the most significant and cost effective way to prolong your pavement life.
